On March 22, Batu Ampar Container Terminal (BACT), in collaboration with Batam Terminal Petikemas (BTP), conducted a socialization session regarding the adjustment of port service tariffs. The initiative was held as part of a commitment to transparency and to ensure that all service users gain a clear understanding of the upcoming changes in the tariff structure.
The event brought together key stakeholders in the logistics and port sector, including ALFI, INSA, and APBMI, as well as other relevant industry players and stakeholders. During the session, BACT and BTP presented the rationale behind the tariff adjustment policy, the scope of the changes, and their expected impact on operational activities.
A discussion forum was also opened to gather feedback, suggestions, and insights from service users, aiming to ensure a more effective and sustainable implementation of the policy.
